I consulted with Dr.Silverberg before trying for baby number four. I was given reassurance that with ivf and pgs testing I would get a positive outcome of 4-5 healthy pgs tested embryos. The purpose was not to have excess embryos but to prevent a heart break of first trimester loss and have one healthy child.

Over confidence in my outcome should have been a big red flag. I should have run the other way. After egg retrieval, with over 80% immature eggs, I was left with zero embryos to pgs test.

If you are willing to dedicate time, side effects from medications, financial obligations over 20k, emotional roller coaster from all the uncertainty, this may be an option. Trying on your own and being disappointed by not getting pregnant that month or miscarrying only causes emotional grief. Save yourself from this ivf gamble, its very infuriating to say to the least.

I chose Dr. Silverberg based on reviews I saw on other infertility forums. Four previous doctors told me I would never have a child. I was 40 and had some other issues but I wanted to give it one more try. I gave birth to twins - a boy and a girl - a month ago. Without Dr. Silverberg, they wouldn't be here today. After five long years of trying, my husband and I had pretty much given up. We went through IUI with Dr. Silverberg and it was still mostly luck but he gave us hope. He also made sure I was healthy and in the best position to have a child. I can't say enough good things about my experience. I know not every doctor/patient relationship works out but this one did and I wish I could have Dr. Silverberg for my regular doctor. He was always very compassionate and honest with me. If I had anything negative to say it would be the long waits at each appointment but that seems to be the norm in a lot of offices today and it is the nature of the business since there are emergencies. If you are struggling with infertility, give Dr. Silverberg a try. It may not work for everyone but I would definitely recommend you at least give him and his staff a try.

We struggled to get pregnant for a couple of years before we saw Dr. Silverberg. We went through various treatment plans with two other doctors, and nothing seemed to work . After my first appointment with Dr. Silverberg, he diagnosed me with something that none of the other doctors discovered. I immediately had a minor outpatient surgery, and started a new treatment plan. Dr. Silverberg was always straightforward about everything, and quickly gained our trust. He's a really busy guy, but never made us feel rushed. He's also the most knowledgable doctor that my husband and I have ever talked to. Really. We also loved his witty personality. The IVF process is very complicated and Dr. Silverberg made sure that we understood everything clearly. He and his staff were so easy to reach throughout the entire process. Overall, he's just amazing. I am now 16 weeks pregnant, and it really is all because of Dr. Silverberg.

Dr. Silverberg is a phenomenal fertility doctor! Where another physician failed, he was successful and now we are the proud parents of two wonderful 12 month old twins (girl and boy). Our procedure was an IUI with Gonal F injections. The 3 round was the charm!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Silverberg at Texas Fertility Center. I first met with him after going through fertility treatment for 6 months with another fertility specialist. I had lost hope when I met him, but he completely restored it. He is confident, and for good reason. My previous doctor had said I needed to move on to IVF. Dr. Silverberg presented another option, and within 3 months I was pregnant! I am now 22 weeks pregnant with our first little boy! And when we decide it is time for #2, I know I will be seeing Dr. Silverberg again!

I did a treatment with Dr. Silverberg. He is very unprofessional. He completely lied to me during my treatment. He would rather lie to his patients than be honest and upfront with them. I will never do another treatment with him nor would I want anyone else to receive this kind of care. Unprofessional and deceitful.

My husband and I feel very lucky to have had Dr Silverberg treat me for my infertility, brought on by pelvic adhesions due to an older surgery. He was patient with all my questions/concerns and even indulged my suggestions, when I balked at the idea of another surgery (due to my bad experience, earlier). After 4 failed IUIs and finally an IVF, we were successful in getting pregnant! Through all of these procedures and 2 other laparoscopies (to remove the adhesions), Dr Silverberg remained positive and encouraging, dispelling my fears and answering our questions patiently. Did we wait for him during the appointments? Sure. But it was so worth it. The TFC staff is very courteous and very prompt in answering all our questions. I will go back there in a second, if need be.

I think Dr. Kaylen Silverberg is one of the great ones in his field. Not only is he really knowledgeable but he has very good bed side manor which I feel is very important, especially during this sensitive process. He was genuinely happy when my husband and I got pregnant with twins. Not only did he give me a big hug my husband also received one. I was recommended to him by many people and I too have referred friends to him. The staff was also great. They knew my husband and I by name when we arrived and they we all so courteous during this long process. I highly recommend Dr. Silverberg… He gets an A+ from my husband and I.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Silverberg to anyone trying to conceive. He was a wonderful, caring, smart, confident doctor. He listened to all of my concerns and fears and knew exactly how to turn them around! My first IVF was a success! I am now pregnant with my first and second child. The entire staff was great. I had my own fertility nurse and then after IVF was successful had my own pregnancy nurse. They were always there to answer all of my dumb questions and no one ever treated me as if I were annoying or taking up too much of their time. Even the after-hours nurse was amazing! Anytime I called, she responded right away.
