Dr. Perkins might as well be a 1st year medical student for all the damn good he did me! He never once in the 2 years I was “seeing him” as a patient, did he bother to order any additional imaging, nor did he provide me any sort of real solution, other than pain relief injections in the knee (which I’ve had most of my life since I was in my early teens and this idjit knew that!!!) or a “nerve burning” so I’d literally never feel anything in my knee again…And based all his medical opinions off 2 year old imaging instead of listening to me, the patient…who lives in this body 24/7/365!

I wasted almost 2 years of money, time & effort to be palmed off - DESPITE THIS IDJIT TELLING ME HIMSELF THAT ITS NOT A CASE OF IF I NEED A KNEE REPLACEMENT, BUT WHEN! - as “too young” because I’m under 50 years old.

Wouldn’t even sign off on my disability parking permit renewal, claiming my GP would be better situated to do that as he sees me more often that he does.

1. I’d seen Dr Perkins more in the preceding 12 months, than I had my own mother, let alone my GP… and he’s supposed to be the “expert” in my condition (OA), and could have signed off a longer period of time than 12 months!

2. He’s a lazy good for nothing who shouldn’t be the head of anything, let alone orthopaedics!

The Prince Charles Hospital might have a fabulous ED, brilliant admin staff and nurses/drs in the ER ….but their outpatient doctor services are dismal at best, which includes this joke of a doctor and all his “fellows”.

Heed my words! You have been warned!
