Dr Steven Megson performed LRTI surgery on my right hand, at Buderim Private Hospital,
a year ago, and there is not a day goes past that I am not truly thankful I had this operation done. Dr Megson is genius! Very competent, professional and approachable. The office staff are also extremely good. I now have full use of my hand, with no pain when I garden, and this will help me keep my health for many years to come. Thankyou so much!

I had terrible pain in my right thumb in October 2018 and Dr Megson performed a trapeziectomy which has given me full use of my thumb without pain. I found him very friendly and talked about things such as travel with him and his receptionist.

I had surgery in December 2019 for carpal tunnel release. Dr Megson was thorough, to the point and his humor helped alleviate my anxiety. He was fantastic before, during and after surgery. Won't hesitate in recommending him or returning to him in future if necessary.

I went to Dr Megson with a anterior superior labral tear which i had suffered excrutiating shoulder pain from for 2 yrs. I found Dr Megson cold, abrupt & gave me no time to explain my pain He just dismissed that labral tears caused pain & arm weakness & gave no explanation whatsoever of a serious condition he thought it may be & sent me off with referral to Neuro. When I became very distressed & almost fainted. he still showed no empathy whatsoever & rushed me out with no explanation or care. He spent only 10 mins with me & was not interested In my shoulder pain history. I left extremely anxious & shocked that an orthopedic surgeon could be so cold, rude & brush off an actual shoulder tear which needs repair.
