So far I have only had one appointment with Dr. Thoppil. My initial impression it that she is all the things a good GP is supposed to be: (1) thorough - she took a full history and did not try to rush me out the door; (2) she was genuinely compassionate and empathic - so I felt comfortable talking to her; and (3) perceptive - she was able to connect the dots and make conclusions.
