It's amazing how drastic others' opinions are. I have to agree.. those that are ugly and negative are the ones' that have been turned away/dismissed. Dr. Vandercar came out of retirement because after his daughter was injured (her neck), he saw first hand how horribly other doctors treat (most likely) people who suffer with constant, debilitating pain, from injury to disease. I, myself, am injured/disabled from life-altering injury; Dr Vandercar helped me to be able to get out of bed again. To do my best to make best with all injuries. Fusion didn't help; told I need several more that may or may not help. And since, Dr. Vandercar has now retired. Dear Lord do I truly miss him. He was(is) the most honest, patient, selfless doctor I have ever seen in all of my yrs of this life robbing injury. I just want it known that he truly was a God send to help me and so many others that truly need it. Thank you Dr. Vandercar! God Bless you and yours! And Please know that you're truly missed!

I have been a patient of Dr. VanDercar's since 2006, and he is the best true pain management Doc I have found. He honestly cares, as does his current staff, about his patients and their wellbeing. They go above and beyond to help find pharmacies that have the medications prescribed since there doesn't seem to be enough to go around, despite the claim most "pill mills" have thankfully been shut down. I have issues that can't be fixed, but cause unbearable pain 24/7/365, and NO doctor understood that I would not be able to "wean off" pain meds after a month or two for some reason. I went to another pain Dr. before Dr V that insisted on injections in my spine every week which made it worse. That Dr that insisted on doing injections on my spine, and I allowed it 3 times because I was desperate, but when they made it worse, and I refused any more, I was dismissed as a patient, and his exact words were, "Your primary can write pain prescriptions for you." Thank God I found Dr VanDercar!

Im not sure if some of these people are going to the same clinic that I am. I can't believe what Im hearing from some of these people making these comments. I have been going to Dr. Vandecar for almost 2 years now and the staff have been nothing but courteous even helping me out in ways that they really didn't have to. Whenever I go in its always a nice hello... how have you been... what is new with you... And them turning their backs on the people in the waiting room? They have work to do and we can sit there and watch a big screen HD TV with DVD's that Dr. Vandercar paid for and are in each of the patient rooms as well so we dont get bored. I think that is really nice. I have never seen anyone get mad or be less than nice at any time I have been there. So what Im saying is that these people who are ranting were probably there just to get pills to abuse or sale.

doctor david saved my late husbands lives by restoring our lives by being able to have a life again. He is the most honest, caring, law abiding doctor there is. I am now able to do things I couldn't do before I am not in misery as we were he is not 1 to just hand out pills you have to have proof of your pain you just don't get meds without validation of your injuries & pain problems. without doctor david vandercar I would not be able to function due to medical problems. Not everyone abuses their meds. Doctors do not cause a person to abuse pills that is the person themselves. Take responsiblity for own actions quit blaming everyone for ones own problems, and let us who need the meds to have relief alone.

First off, this doctor has basically saved my life - I have a herniated disc in my neck and because I am under 30 no one would consider pain medication... after failed surgery and other attempts to control my pain he started me on low dose pain medication and now I can work again and even exercise. I know he has kicked out many people for faking their urine test, doing drugs, failing a pill count, etc. those people then get upset and write bad things on the message board. Look at how many good posts he had and then all of a sudden, right in a row, there are three people complaining and lying? He does take insurance - I have TriCare and the lady before me had Geico Personal Injury Insurance. Yes, he has very strict standards - yes, once you've been going there a long time, if you are happy and not asking for any changes he does not spend more than 2 or 3 min with you. But whenever there is a problem he spends as much time as you need. And the front office staff IS nice.

Cash ONLY office. Refers patients to pharmacy on the first floor of the same building. This pharmacy has had multiple complaints against it, and he continues to refer his patients to the pharmacy. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable starting with the receptionist all the way to the physicians assistant. I feel their motto is - IF YOU DON'T LIKE - YOU CAN JUST LEAVE. One of his assistants in particular is just down right rude and mean. They spend 99.9 % of your office visit with their back to you filling out paperwork on the computer. I NEVER felt comfortable discussing any of my problems with the staff or the MD himself. After over 2 years, I felt like although I was paying for my service, following protocols, I was very easily disposed of as a patient. I didn't feel comfortable discussing if I need changes in my meds. Come in, pay your money, see the assistant for 2 minutes, see the MD long enough to sign your scripts, and then you were done until next month to do it all ove

Has this patients supporting and ensuring a "Cult" like attitude. Just go ahead and try to discredit or critizize them, just like a cult, you will get all sorts of nasty, HIGHLY defensive comments back. Meanwhile, the patients are never stepped down and those that are, are discharged. I had to leave because it was hurting me to see so many people so blinded by prescriptions and opiates. This IS a troubled clinic that will eventually close.

I have come FULL circle with this doctor. From beyond elation to beyond disappointment. I once sung his praises until I was a patient who VOLUNTARILY left after 3 years. The staff was extremely rude and unfortunately those who say different are just so happy to be accepted that they'll say anything to the contrary like I did. Like I said, I have come FULL circle. From ELATED to crushed. I voluntarily discharged myself after seeing the out of control way the clerk spoke to one patient and after just requesting ONCE for a copy of a bill (why dont they accept insurance?). The sad part is that the patients are so desperate and in so much pain, they see him as a god and not as a human. I feel sad for them. Once again, I speak from the heart and hope people understand this is out of caution for them. God Bless!
