Dr. Donta cured me. When other doctors flat out said that I didn't have Lyme disease and there was no such thing as chronic Lyme, he looked at my lab results and said it was a "no brainer". He's so nice also.

Dr. Donta is an angel. He is very knowledgeable, soft spoken and thorough. He gives you hope. He listens to you. He knows all the politics of the disease and how to get his patients better. Very few infectious disease docs treat with long term antibiotics (he uses plaquenil & biaxin or amox). I'm getting a little better each month. I saw him in Boston but he also is in Falmouth. THANK YOU SAM DONTA FOR BELIEVING US!

In '94 I bulls-eyed and went to see Dr. Smith. He put me on 10 days of anti's...not the right length of time. I now have embedded Lyme despite going to over 7 doctors describing the hell I was going through: fevers, chills, nonstop fatigue, mind fog. I maintained a house, 3 children, dog, 3 cars I repaired myself, which I could do hands down prior to being infected. After I began falling asleep at work and while driving, diagnosis were: depression, MS, etc. and while in PT for yet another torn, pulled muscle, ligament, back, etc., Joe Carroll of Mashpee Rehab., hearing I'd fallen asleep upright in a metal chair in 2 min. referred me to Dr. Sam Donta as I sounded like his wife. Wary, I went expecting the same. He did some preliminary tests and I realized I had failed miserably. Diagnosis: classic Lyme and treatment began. It was like a miracle! I tried to rid it for over 2 1/2 yrs, but it's still with me. I can maintain. God bless you Dr. Donta and may you help many others misdiagnosed.

My son had suffered from knee pains, shoulder pains, back pains, unexplained flu symptoms, iritis, fatigue, and more on a regular basis for a couple of years. The tests came back negative for Lyme. Many doctors later we arrived at Dr Donta's office. I cannot tell you the relief that was felt just by having Dr Donta listen to EVERYTHING that my son went through. He is soft spoken but his words bring resounding hope to what was once hopelessness. After that first meeting my family, for the first time, felt vindicated. It has been about 14 months since treatment was started and the improvement has been amazing! We all hope and pray that this ordeal will finally be over. There are not enough words to express how wonderful this man is. He is truly one of God's miracle workers.

Thank heavens for Dr. Donta. He is one of the few Lyme doctors who take insurance, and he is very good. Very warm, knowledgeable and thorough.

Dr. Donta is one of a kind! He doesn't work any magic, (to quote him), but he offers hope and encouragement when there isn't any left. He can also think outside the box, which in my experiences, very few doctors can or worse yet, care to! Just when I think we may be going down the wrong path, he changes his course, not his diagnoses but his direction in treating it. It's almost like he's pulling a new rabbit out of his hat! Ahhh sweet hope springs back again! Those of you who like me, have been seeing him for years know exactly what I'm talking about. He deals with one of the most exaserbating diseases of our times. One that many don't even believe exists, and those that do, give up treating it out of frustration and lack of improvement. His insightfulness never ceases to astound me. I've had Lyme disease for 26 years now, but only got diagnosed after going to several different doctors for 20 years. I've run the gammit of various treatm

After several months of only partial improvement on less effective treatments, my doctor tried the medications recommended by Dr Donta, based largely on my symptoms being an exact match to the descriptions of symptoms in his articles, plus my partial improvement being a close match again to the descriptions in Dr Donta's work. Thus while I never saw Dr Donta, his work was critically important to helping me get rid of this horrid disease.

Dr. Donta is a life saver. When I went to seven and 8 doctors and none were able to help me until I went to Dr. Donta. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and effective. I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude for him treating me and curing me of the Lyme disease.
