I saw Dr Palmer a while ago about an infected wound to the foot. Although I did precise I was highly allergic to penicillin, he prescribed me a derivate product of penicillin. I took it for about a week with no improvement whatsoever. He called me back saying that he actually gave me a wrong prescription and that he had the right antibiotics. I had to go back to his cabinet, where I spent literally a minute that's it. He gave me the correct antibiotics (which I had to buy again) and couldn't believe when the practice made me pay the consultation!!! As a student and without medicare, I was bitterly disappointed in Dr Palmer's lack of professionalism and will not be returning to his Curtin university cabinet any time soon.
