Recently whilst eating a raspberry and white chocolate cookie I heard a distinct *crunch*, and then felt a number of hard/sharp items in my mouth. It turned out that a Raspberry seed had made its way into the cookie, and had managed to crack/shatter my tooth! I called up and Greg was able to see me within a few hours which was fantastic. He quickly and professionally resolved the problem tooth, and then gave me some very useful hints for the future to avoid such incidents (including using some high-fluoride toothpaste). Needless to say, I have not had any other issues since! Thanks Greg, always great to have a trustworthy and professional dentist, so few left!!

Greg told me about a guy claiming all sorts of idiotic things about him and I thought I'd have a look. It's certainly not the same dentist that has been treating me and my family for years! Greg is kind, gentle and helpful. He enjoys interacting with us and is always up for a laugh. He's not cheap cheap but he's very good at what he does and worth every bit of his reasonable fees.
I think the last reviewer has made up a good story because he's got something against Greg I know he doesn't give discounts to say nice things about him as he doesn't need too!

I was asked to write a review on this site by Dr Greg in exchange for a discount. I was not impressed by him as a dentist, he was rough and seemed more interested in my wife than me, and I was the one in the chair.
I was also worried about how much his hands were shaking before and after he was drilling.
Also his radio ad about being the affordable dentistry is definately wrong, even my private insurance said his fees were higher than others.

I have known Greg both as a dentist and a friend for many years and can only praise his professional attitude and ethics. Comments below saying he has been critisized for being unethical stem from a dispute with a couple of other dentists in relation to advertising. There has been no action taken by the Dental Board in relation to this. He supports and helped establish Smile Dental Clinic in Cambodia to help with the dental needs of the less fortunate people of the world. Its unfortunate that people can put unfounded comments on this site totally anonymously. I'd recommend Greg for a high quality dental experience

Dr McHugh is supremely knowledgeable. I found him to be extremely forthcoming with relevant information, including pros and cons which allowed me to consider and choose the best treatment for my situation. I would have no hesitation referring him to others.

Dr Mchugh came out on a Thursday night to see my daughter who'd hit her mouth when playing with her brother. He was kind and gentle and Sally ,even though distressed, almost relaxed completely as Dr Greg told " Dad jokes" and got her smiling. He explained everything so well and reassured me that the loose baby tooth would probably be ok. He joined it to the next tooth and gave Sally a little present after the appointment. I was SO relieved.
He phoned the next day and checked and checked again 2 weeks later.
Sally was so happy then and has now got a beautiful smile!
Thanks Dr Greg. We'll definitely go back with ath the whole family.

Great dentist, very knowledgable and helpful. Found the whole experience much better than any dentist I've been to before.
