Dr. Lian repaired my ruptured Achilles three years ago and I have had nothing but problems with it. It's obvious, it did not heal correctly but he was not all interested in continuing any treatment. I am in continuous pain and have a big lump on my heal. I have left the U.C. Davis physicians group, which I had for more than 25 years. AVOID THIS DOCTOR!

**AVOID THIS DOCTOR** This guy totally screwed up my ankle. I now have to have my ankle fused or replaced. But due to his incompetence my career is over. Arrogant and doesn't believe he can do any wrong.

Had a 2:00 appt, taken back @ 2:45,sat in rm till 3:15 for a 20 min appt. If i didn't ask ?s about my MRI/Xrays he wasn't telling me or educating me. end result in his words "i wouldn't have the surgery, but if you want me to do it I will, these are fun surgeries I like and I'll do it, plus I'll make money. It's up to you." Handed me a business card and said check my website it explains the procedure. and that's why I reated him so poorly, he treated me poorly.

Surgery for removal of bone spur and shaving of bone. Poor healing. Resultant pain and evidence of bulged bone still exists post three month after surgery. Have been given no alternatives to this chronic pain.
