About 19 years ago, Dr. William Davis, who had been a family physician for about 25 years referred me to Dr. Calderone for potential back surgery problems with L4-L5. At the time, I was 60 but felt like an 80-year-old. Today, in a few months, I will actually turn 80. Since the surgery, I have been able to lead a very active life gardening, working in various parishes as director of music, volunteering in my grandchildren’s classrooms, painting the interior of our home, traveling and exercising. I fully cared for my mother for over 30 years. She died a couple of years ago at the age of 102. Now, I am relieving my husband of many responsibilities since he’s experiencing some long-term health issues. Currently, I am applying to the Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for volunteer work. I can’t imagine accomplishing all of this with the back problems I had. Thank you!

Dr. Calderon is an experienced surgeon. He has done 3, excellent, successful surgeries for my husband and son... shoulder, knee and arm. His staff is lacking in many aspects... courtesy, knowledge and helpfulness. Dr. Calderon is a no nonsense type of doctor... not a lot of "bedside manner" or chatty personality, but he gets the job done well.
