Like all the other reviews say, rudest doctor I’ve encountered. Very condescending tone the first time I talked to her. And refused to answer the phone when I had a medical emergency and questions regarding renal dosage for my meds, which is literally her job. I was shocked when I was told she refused my call, extremely unprofessional doctor

I want to share my experience with Dr. Shirley Torng, and let me tell you, it was a total nightmare. This woman has got to be one of the worst doctors I've ever come across.

First off, her bedside manners? Non-existent. She doesn't listen, talks down to you, and is just plain ignorant. I tried to get some answers with biopsies, and she straight-up canceled them just because I didn't want to be her patient anymore. Like, seriously?

It's pretty clear she's just there for the paycheck and couldn't care less about the people she's supposed to be helping. No compassion whatsoever. She's snappy, rude, and if you dare ask her a question, be prepared for her to raise her voice like you just insulted her whole existence. Who does that?

I've been through my fair share of doctors, but Dr. Shirley Torng takes the cake for being the meanest and most unprofessional one yet. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one.

I had my first visit and found Dr Torng to be very knowledgeable and kind. I was very pleased with my initial meeting. She made suggestions to me on how to improve my kidney health. I am currently waiting for an ultrasound. The office staff were nice also. I did not have to wait at all.

My dad had kidney failure and was on the nephrology ward at SMH and she saw him once and I witnessed her come in, rudest doctor I have ever met, the only rude one he had there. I don’t know what she’s like as a doctor but terrible bedside manners, she even got into a fight with the one of the nurses. My dad specifically requested that this doctor was not to treat him again

I have kidney disease and everything she recommended only made things worse, including water infusions and reducing salt and potassium intake. I was subsequently hospitalized and given sodium and potassium transfusions and my condition improved. Listen to her advice and do the opposite.

I was sitting in her office waiting. She strides in and says 'You have Chronic Kidney Disease.' No introductions, no confirming I was the patient, nothing. It was a bit terrifying. I complained to my GP. Next time, she was as sweet as pie. She is thorough, and appears to be knowledgeable. I guess I'll see what happens next time. I feel a bit leery. If something major occurs, I may ask for a second opinion before proceeding.

She has been a very condescending, gum chewing doctor that will not listen to the patient at all. I have never written to complain about anybody before, but I cannot let this go.
She had the audacity to blame my mother (the patient) for taking too long in her treatment decisions, and that was why my mother is now doing so poorly. Very rude and disorganized clinic.

I am amazed this woman doesnt have any reviews. She was my aunts dr. Prescribed to her a drug that states patients with liver disease and diabetes shouldnt take. When my aunt was dying over the course of a 10 day stay in the hospital, I tried to find answers and got no response and then when I did, it was a day after she died and this dr called me, unaware she had died. Her bedside manner was appalling. The way she spoke to me was rude and she didnt care at all. Even said "youre welcome" twice to me when I never said thank you. I would never recommemd anyone see this dr.
