We have been patients of Dr. Hood for over 5 years now. She is the BEST. They have always been very helpful with both of our boys. Her nurse Martha and all the staff have always been great. Love that we can bring our kids in on Saturday or Sunday if they are sick. Our son was admitted to Vanderbilt one weekend and she came on her day off just for a visit. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr.Hood.She was extremely caring to our newborn baby.We felt she was very knowledgeable and felt our babies life was safe in her hands.Her nurse Martha is also very friendly and awesome.I recommend her as your child's pediatrician

My son saw Dr.Hood when he was sick and I found her to be caring, extremely knowledgeable, and excellent with teenage children. I would recommend her highly. Also, the nurses and office staff were wonderful and they have RX Dispensing in the office so I didn't have to go and wait in a drug store with a sick child. I had a great experience.

The first reviewer must have been having a bad day, because the staff is nothing but wonderful, including Dr. Hood. After a Sunday visit when our son was very young and lethargic, she sent us for chest xrays and even called the next morning (herself, not someone else) to check on him. I have recommended many friends to her and all have been pleased!

Could not agree less with the previous review. Dr. Hood is very caring and is a superb diagnostician. She has done incredibly with with both of my children. I could not recommend her more highly.

Horrible and rude staff. Refused to call our daughter by her name. Beligerent when making appointments. Hood is uninformed and backwoods. Forcing uneeded medications and makes threats. AVOID!!!!
