Please beware of his nurse practitioner, it's my opinion that she shouldn't be treating patients. A family member had surgery to remove a mass from her leg, two weeks after the surgery she was experiencing awful pain & extreme redness around the incision site. Jessica Lakey entered the room and within seconds announced that it was not infected but merely a skin irritation. I asked more than once if Jessica could please take my family members temperature to see if she had a fever, she refused. She wrote a prescription for an antibiotic and I asked why would she need an antibiotic if it incision wasn't infected! Jessica wasn't able to give me a straight answer. My F.M told Jessica numerous times how ill she felt, again she dismissed her! At one point she stated "you probably have the flu". We left the office and I drove straight to the Emergency Room, the doctor in the ER looked at my F.M and immediately knew she was extremely ill. She had a fever, her pulse rate was elevated and her WBC was over 18,000 {normal 10000}. She was immediately placed on IV antibiotics due to SEPSIS. MY F.M spent many days in the hospital and required an additional surgery to remove a golf ball size abscess at the surgical site. She also needed to be on oral antibiotics for two weeks after the hospital stay. If we would have listened to Jessica Lakey's who knows what may have happened. It's my opinion Jessica should NEVER BE TRUST! She dismissed every "red flag" and it could have been tragic!

jessica Lakey is a poor excuse for a "nurse practitioner" and for a human being. She has no manners, consideration or intelligence. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever met. Also her appearance for a doctor is absolutely unbelievable. Her stomach was hanging out of her scrubs and her hair was very greasy!
