Dr. Bierly did my husband's cataract surgeries. He did a fantastic job! My husband hasn't seen this well in years and years. Dr. Bierly has a great bedside manner as well. Unfortunately, the follow up from the surgeries was done by another doctor so we never had a chance to personally thank him for a great job that has so positively affected my husband's life. I'm hoping that he will see this here and know how much we appreciate his excellent work/care. He came highly recommended to us and we will certainly pass along the recommendation.

Dr. Bierly did my cataract surgeries in February and March of 2023. I had a GREAT experience with great results. I found him to be personable and professional. He is kind and listens. He answered all my questions. I saw him before and after both surgeries. He is experienced in cataract surgery (which is what you want!) The staff at Southeast Eye was very good - attentive, kind, happy, and felt like a family of caregivers. Would go there again.

Jack Bierly performed my cataract surgery nearly a year ago. I opted for the ultimate package which supposedly gave me "ADVANCED Testing & Analytics ... CUSTOM lens calculations ... Treatment of Astigmatism ... CUSTOM multifocal lenses ... LASER-ASSIST ... Reduced dependence on glasses with functional vision at ALL distances" This package came at a cost of over $7,000. My regular eye doctor was extremely critical of the results, and assured me that Bierly would be receptive to replacing the lens. I was told that there was some kind of "debris" on the capsule that needed to be lasered away, but that it couldn't be done for 90 days. I waited 90 days, had the procedure done, and at that time, I inquired what the next step would be since I saw no improvement. Bierly replied "I guess we could do a lens swap". There was no improvement at all, but NOW ... he says the lens cannot be replaced BECAUSE of the laser procedure. His "assistant" Luckson Previl explained that lens exchanges MUST be done in the first 30-60 days after the surgery. Both of these "doctors" dealt in half-truths and outright lies. After MUCH debate, they offered me a $3195 bribe to just go away. Now, I will need to be back in glasses & contact lenses for the rest of my life ... bear in mind ... I COULD have simply gotten the basic package that involved ZERO out of pocket expense, and would have left me in glasses & contact lenses. I spoke with a representative of the company and expressed my concerns, claiming that was simply not enough to cover my disappointing results. She said she would speak to the doctors and get back to me ... THAT was in late May 2022 ... so far ... NOTHING !!!
There are too many reputable eye surgeons around to trust your vision with these quacks & liars. Do yourself a favor, and seek them out.

I rating Dr. Bierly for a procedure that he did several years ago. I came to him because I had cataract surgery from another doctor. Many, many problems with my vision and after numerous visits, I finally discovered that my previous doctor had implanted the wrong lens! Unfortunately, the previous doctor and his staff had delayed so long that my lens had implanted. I went to Dr. Bierly, upon recommendation, and he was able to perform a "piggy back" operation, which meant that he placed a second lens over the original lens. My vision was corrected to almost normal (which was better odds than even Dr. Bierly had given me). I was thrilled!

Not pleased with my cataract surgery in one eye. Was not able to get appointment with him to check to see what is wrong. Would not recommend Dr. Bierly.

Dr Bierly did my mother's surgery. She has perfect vision and is very happy.
