I had a torn meniscus in my right knee. Surgery for repair was done and he said the great news was that no sign of arthritis was present. A month later the pain was worse than ever and his comment was that I have stage 4 arthritis in that knee and the pain was normal for that kind of issue?!?!? Dr. Charette said that he had done more than fix the tear, that he had done some extra 'trimming' which is a guaranteed path to knee replacement and that most docs know better. So, I would advise you to beware!

This Doctor has been to 3 different hospitals in the Western Kentucky area. Walked on broken leg for 3 weeks... said the "swelling was normal". It was the bone pushing on the outside of my leg. Had to go to Nashville to fix his two screw ups. Staff at the hospital would not recommend.(Would not say anything for fear of losing job) Take caution please!

Seemed nice at first. Was having pain in left leg and foot. Had xrays taken, given something for pain??? and told to return. Pain was not better, returned in two weeks and was told you have arthritis?? got to PT for about six weeks and see if this gets better? All the guy wanted to do is talk about himself. Well I did not return and my family Dr. sent me to a a different Dr. come to find out I had fibroids pressing on a nerve in my left leg. Glad i didn't go to PT. my Dr. in Nashville had agood laugh. This Dr. treated me like I was after pain medication and blew me off. At my second visit he kept refering to my right foot and leg????
