I had my first heart valve replacement done by Richard Morrisson in Chattanooga in 1999. I just had my second a few weeks ago. My first was tissue. This one was mechanical and they are suppossed to last although one has to take the blood thinner Warfarin and get blood checked. Mr. Morrisson correctly recomended that a tissue valve was the way to go. And the surgery was nearly pain less. The second was not pain less. I am sure a lot of the pain has to do with fact that I am older and it was a surgery on top of another surgery plus an ex plant then implant. But the pain level was so elevated this time that I could not help but wonder if Richard Morrisson performed magic the first time?

I had the most wonderful experience during my time spent at Memorial Hospital in Tennessee. Doctor Morrison had me in heart surgery on a Thursday morning and out of the hospital by Monday afternoon. I had a 100% blockage of my Left Anterior Descending Artery of my heart. He fixed me up and had me home with no problems and his staff was wonderful and very compassionate and kind. Sincerely, Tywanda M. Benson
