I work in medicine, so may have a different perspective than other reviewers. I also think working in the Providence system would be tough, given that in the medical community they are known as the Sisters of Profit. That said, I came in at 4:45PM on a Friday with a fairly extensive laceration that needed sutures. PMG Seaside is listed as an urgent care, but they don't know that (a Providence problem; not the provider's). I don't disagree that Kathryn is a bit gruff, but I was able to get her to warm up without too much effort. I absolutely didn't want to have to walk over to the ER, which she offered as an option. I advocated for myself and once that was clear, she did not hesitate to suture my wound, and did so professionally and competently. Not all providers have great bedside manner, but I will take a competent provider over a touchy/feely provider any day of the week.

I agree totally with the first comment. Terrible experience with Ms. Suarez. Not helpful, seemed irritated, very bad bedside manner. Would NOT recommend this person EVER.

I've looked all over for reviews and am surprised there are none for k. Suarez for all her years of practicing. Anytime I have seen her she has not smiled or seemed to attempt to be friendly towards me, she has not seemed to know much with I don't know answers. She seemed irritated I was even there and rushed to end the visit. Was not very helpful, She said my throat appeared to have nothing wrong and nothing was red or swollen yet the next morning someone whose working years in dental told me how swollen my glands are. Also had someone who I knew who saw her same day say she was very rude and said nothing was wrong and felt she just wanted to get off her shift. Does not make me comfortable in her presence or judgement especially when she mentions on her resume about emotional support and appeared to have no skills in that area towards me, I was not the only one there during my visit and person who was with me also felt she was rude.
