The rating below about rude and no compassion I would not believe for one second. Emma is the most compassionate Dr I know and have seen her for many years. She is without a doubt one of the best gps in Townsville being both medically sound and compassionate. If there was an award for excellence in general practice, Emma should get it!

Dr Lyster is a gem! She really listens to you. It's obviously
more than just a job for her. She clearly explains things so you always know where you stand and what the next steps are.

Dr Lyster’s dedication to her patients is amazing. I would entrust her to all of my closest family and friends. She is hard worker who always provides the upmost care with genuine compassion and concern. We need more GPs like her!

Emma is the best GP I've ever had. Thorough, respectful, kind and calming. She helps you feel relaxed but investigates to get to the bottom of problems. Would highly recommend Emma to anyone.

Emma's compassion, kindness and dedication to her patients is second to none. She is thorough and makes sure you are comfortable and confident with the outcome of your consultation outcome before leaving. She is always approachable and dedicated to her patients. I have referred a few friends to her who have been dissatisfied with their previous GP's only to hear rave reviews from them too.
