This BBM cream....well my face has lighten up but I still have dark spots. Not sure why. My insurance does not cover Dermatologist visit so I paid out of pocket, which was not cheap. The doctor said she wanted to see me back in 3 months, umm no!

MY rating is for Dr. Woolfolk- having ADHD it takes patience for me to gain an a good understanding of what I dont understand and as I told her I had it- she then explained and answered all my questions with clarity! Happy that she was brought aboard!

I love dr. Woolfork, she was very nice, very professional and answered all my questions! I am definitely going back and keeping her as my dermatologist and my mother would like to see her as well. My problem was with the staff, I drove 5 hours for my appointment, the staff was rude, and very unprofessional. She said I needed my insurance card, even though the office had all my insurance information and told me to call my insurance company, when I came back in she had my card information and everything. Then they tell me that I was or of network and told me I could pay out of pocket! I was very upset and refused! So I went downstairs to my car, looked up the office on Aetna and sure enough I was in network. I called back and talked to the insurance department at the doctor's office, she called Aetna, long story, but I was in network and she told me to come back up. My appointment was at 9, I didn't see the doctor and get all this straightened out until about 11:00 or so! When I went back up the staff member didn't apologize, and acted like she knew! Very frustrating after driving 5 hours! And waking up at 3:00 and to deal with all of that! I am blessed I was able to see the doctor, but all that was not necessary and very unprofessional! If it wasn't for the wonderful doctors, I would not go back, but since I do like the doctors I will go back, but that staff wasn't sympathetic to my needs, they didn't try to call my insurance company to resolve it or anything!

I dont understand so many negative reviews but I have been to many dermatologist and as a person of color I can truly say the BBM cream is the only thing that has worked. I have used other similar products prescribed by other dermatologist and they don't come close. The BBM cream clears and lightens my complexion almost flawless skin. Its not perfect but I haven't found anything close and like I said I have seen many dermatologist. Dr. Blackburn is very nice and always smiles, he listens and even follows up. I am so glad that he is here in Dallas.

I miss him being in the St Paul Professional building #1. He is still the greatest dermalogist I know for black hair.

We arrived at this facility for myself and my sons appointment. As soon as I went to the window to talk with staff the young lady was already being over aggressive and barking out orders. We had already submitted our insurance information and the young lady stated that they called the insurance carrier and the policy had been canceled. Since this happened two days prior you would think that someone would have called and given us this information. But instead that call never came. After sitting here for an hour and finally getting the correct information she then continues to say that the insurance is not accepted here because it is a Georgia based company. One would think that a insurance company is an insurance company no matter what state they are located in, especially when you are talking about one of the if not the largest insurance carrier in the US. Also you would think that by running the insurance card that you had previous all of the information is still the same so it would have registered that this is an out of state policy. And then you could have informed the patient of this and they would not have had to drive 45 minutes out of the way for nothing. While trying to talk calmly you hear to other front desk attendant being disrespectful and unhelpful with two more patients who were at different windows. When going back to get an excuse for my son you would think I had asked them for the key to Fort Knox. They insisted that because he had not been seen that they could not give him an excuse but after talking with the doctor himself he wrote him an excuse. Very unprofessional at this facility will never come back here and would not recommend to anyone unless you are willing to do all of the work yourself. I am NOT used or accustomed to healthcare professionals being this so lazy and I'm concerned about new patients and even existing patients. Visit at your own risk!

Had a great first visit yesterday. No issues with the staff, the office was very clean and professional, and the wait time was bearable (who doesn't wait at a Dr's ofc???). The actual exam was short and seemed impersonal, but as long as the solution works, all is good. Results pending...

Not happy with the environment surrounding this location, especially when I come to sign in and I'm told I need to have my insurance card. I've never had to present my card and now I have to or else I can't be seen. My policy hasn't changed so what's the big deal. The staff was unfriendly with zero eye contact. I even offered to pull up the card on my phone yet, they needed the actual card. Unnecessary. Police were driving through the parking lots lurking for escaped criminals.... Very unsafe conditions! !!
