Dr. Carlton Lyons is the BEST!!!!!! He was heaven sent and beyond knowledgeable of his expertise of endometriosis. I am 32 years old, with no children and had stage 4 endometriosis with severe pelvic pain, cramps, spotting etc. I had seen SEVERAL doctors in the past regarding the same issues and was never offered any relief other than pain medication, which only put a bandaid on my situation. When I came to Dr. Lyons he more than willing to help me with options of relief, & based on my medical condition he determined that a total hysterectomy was needed. I WAS SO HAPPY!!!! The surgery was excellent and Dr. Lyons, his office staff and the environment in general was more than I could EVER ask for.... (tears in my eyes). I will definitely recommend Dr. Lyons to everyone I know. May GOD bless you ALL!!! Thank you, thank you, and thank you!!!!

Dr. Lyons is the most caring, compassionate, kind Dr I have ever met. He truly cares about you as a whole just not what your problem is. He takes the time to listen and looks you straight in the eyes sitting down so you know he is not rushing you and telling you what you want to hear. I would recommend him to anyone who asks for a Gyn for their needs. I had the DaVinci and sailed thru it!!!! Im so very grateful for him. Erin was awesome in surgery as well! Elizabeth is a sweetheart as well as his nurses! Thank you Everyone there for the care you give.

Dr. Lyons is such a very compassionate and caring doctor. He has over 20 years of experience so you are in good hands with him! I had the a hysterectomy with the DaVinci Robot and it was the best type of surgery that I had for this procedure. I had NO pain after surgery, very little discomfort, and no over night hospital stay. I was back to my normal way of living in just a few days. Dr. Lyons and his surgerical staff made me feel at ease and they all did an excellent job! I highly and strongly recommend Dr. Lyons, he knows what he is doing and tells you the absolute truth about your condition and gives you all possible options. I love Dr Lyons & his staff, they are all very professional & friendly. His knowledge is amazing. I had a hysterectomy using the Di Vinci Robot & I'm telling you I HAD NO PAIN when I came out of the anesthesia. Dr Lyons is so knowledgeable in his field of gynecology. I love him & his staff. I had to express how impressed I am with Dr. Carlton Lyons!!! (His staff too) Honestly, I haven't experienced such a high level of client care before and it has impacted me positively as a patient and professional. As a new patient, I so appreciate and realize I need a doctor who is culturally sensitive to the complex experiences of African Americans and how they manifest emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, and definitely physically. Secondly, as a professional I don't see enough African American professionals at least in this region that model professionalism, character, and most importantly compassion. I'm getting emotional just typing this because I truly needed all this from Dr. Lyons when I was referred to him (and he didn't know it). I'm sure I masked my needs by being verbal and anxious. Dr. Lyons you are gifted in more ways than you will every know and I am grateful for my successful surgery but more for you "just being you." You have helped me by modeling a "skill set" that I want as an African American professional and human being. Although you receive so many awards, you appear humble and would still appreciate my simple "THANK YOU."

I have been a patient of Dr Lyons and he has performed 2 soon to be 3 surgeries on me and I would not want anyone else! The nurse's he has working with him are by far the best as well as his 2 partners. The problem I have is when I went for my appt after not being there for awhile, the change in the front office is not the warm smile and welcome it used to be and I felt this was not Dr. Lyons ways. The front office is the first you see when you walk in and it isnt the same and it was very tense in there by all you could feel it in the air, the greeting was not warm nor happy with a smile. Other than this I would recommend him to everyone as he is a true blessing to me.
