Avoid Dr. Hoche if you are a fat patient! She is very fatphobic despite being a larger woman herself! Dr. Hoche mainly focused on a PCOS diagnosis, despite my concerns of endometriosis due to symptoms and heavy family history. I was placed on Metformin, but she refused to place me on anything to help regulate my periods and get pregnant until I lost a set amount of weight. Then when my Metformin ran out, she wouldn't refill the prescription. I am now in the process of setting up a new gyno and will not be going back to Dr. Hoche.

Dr Hoche has been the best OB/GYN I have ever been to! She is so kind and makes you feel comfortable. She answers all questions and never makes you feel like you are a bother or rushed out the door. Missy her nurse is the best! Actually all of the staff is great. They are a very busy practice but I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!!

I was not measured once both times I was Dr. Hoche during my pregnancy. This practice also does not check your urine for preeclampsia. When I asked Dr. Hoche if she does urine samples, she told me that is a thing of the past. Ha, since when. So she is telling me the doctors in MA are behind on their medical procedures, I don't think so. I had to previous babies, both born in MA and now I am pregnant with my third and I am very unhappy with the health care here in Port Charlotte and how behind they are with things. I no longer continued seeing the Comprehensive Womens facility and have since gone elsehwere because of the lack of care both physicians in this office gave me.

Dr. Hoche is amazing with me. This is my first pregnancy and she definitely eases my mind. She answers all questions and make sure to make all patients comfortable
