He’s a nice guy but apparently incompetent. Operated on two sites of abscess, but missed a third adjacent site he left untreated (which produced secondary infection). Sent me home from surgery with no pain medication and NO AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS on how to handle my extensive dressings and bandages, how to bathe, how to go to bathroom, how to change the dressings or avoid further infection. Nothing. Called back two days later with increasing pain, and got no further advice or prescription. Completely negligent and incompetent. Protect yourself: go to a different surgeon.

Worst Doctor I ever had. Was supposed to have emergency surgery within one week he put that off for 1 full month. Waited until I had a nice bladder and intestine infection that made me really sick with a distorted hole in my stomach. Thank you for putting me through so much pain!

Awesome. I went to the ER with severe stomach pains and Dr. Smith did emergency surgery as he was the doctor on call. He literally saved my life. What I had wasn't even a colon issue, it was very unusual and rare, but life threatening. Dr. Smith knew exactly how to operate and knew what to do in an unknown ER emergency situation. Great man, great doctor.

A truly exceptional doctor. He is calm and reassuring and is very good at explaining a complex condition.
