Our daughter became very ill while on a holiday in Canada and was medivac back to Australia and straight to hospital at cabrini. We saw Tom the very next day on arrival he was very open and frank about our daughters cancer and did everything he could to take care of her. She is a beautiful daughter and thanks to Tom’s hard work she is with us today laughing and loving life after massive surgery and chemotherapy. He was a guiding light through the most terrible time in all our lives. She trusts and adores him.Thank you Tom from the bottom of my heart.

Dr Tom Manolitsas is an outstanding surgeon and brilliant doctor. I was referred by my gynaecologist who had quoted a six week recovery time for a hysterectomy. In Tom's care, I was back at work in two weeks and could have returned to work earlier. This is not to mention that Tom is a delightful human being who was absolutely professional. He also was flexible enough to work with another surgeon, so that I could have my gallbladder out at the same time. I am incredibly grateful to him for his excellent care.

I was referred to Dr Tom Manolitsas by my urogynaecologist after my biopsy returned a positive result for uterine cancer in three separate places both on the uterine wall and within a cyst.
Dr Manolitsas made time to consult with me and within two days my daughter and I were sitting in his office going through all the details and aspects of my operation which was performed using robotic surgery four days later. I found him to have an affable manner which made it very easy to ask any questions I had during his very clear and unhurried explanation of both my condition and of the surgery needed. He was empathetic and understanding considering the turmoil a diagnosis like this can cause.

Tom Manolitsas is an excellent surgeon who is compassionate, meticulous and knowledgable. He cares just as much about you as an 'awake' patient as he does when you are the 'anaesthetised' patient.

I was sent to Tom with a very rare tumour and he was able to successfully treat it with surgery and then guide me through further treatment and referrals to additional more specialised doctors at Peter Mac. He generously gave of his time to answer my questions and allay my fears and he has a kindness that most surgeons would do well to adopt as common practice.

I’ve been seeing Dr Tom Manolitsas for the past 6 years. He initially guided, successfully treated & cared for me when I was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and continues to provide ongoing support through regular check ups.
Dr Manolitsas has always been incredibly professional and compassionate during appointments. He ensured I had a broad understanding of my initial diagnosis and options and was always available to answer further queries to make sure I was comfortable with decisions to be made and the proposed treatment.

Dr Manolitsas was referred to me by my GP - I had no prior knowledge of him or his reputation at the time. I have since had a face-to-face appointment with a follow-up telephone appointment.
My experience was an extremely positive one with him giving me all the necessary information relating to my condition, answering all my questions (and there were many!) and following up promptly with results. He was punctual for both appointments, kind in nature and compassionate with his care for me.
He is a fantastic professional with much experience, and it shows. I appreciated his generosity of time, his manner and his expertise. For what would normally be a very uncomfortable experience, he made it much easier with how he managed it.

Dr Manolitsas diagnosed and delivered the news of my Cancer with great compassion early 2017. Three years later and with regular check ups Dr Manolitsas has been extraordinarily caring and incredibly easy to communicate with. Due to his expertise in this field and confidence I have with him after relocating to Queensland I still attend my appointments in Melbourne on a regular basis and will continue to do so. In 2015 after being diagnosed with uterus cancer, I had requested the best surgeon that I could get.After the first appointment with Dr Tom Manolistsas I was so relieved as he was professional and answered all my and my husbands questions, as l was petrified as my mother had died young from cancer. He also booked me in straight away, had to get his secretary to ring around and change his appointments to get me in as soon as possible. The surgery went well especially because it was keyhole surgery and I was assured by Dr Tom Manolistsas that he had got it all. I recovered well and it’s been five year since my surgery, so I’m cancer free! Thanks to Dr Tom Manolistsas could not recommend anyone more highly. I could not have asked for a better and more caring specialist.Since 2009, when dr Tom Manolitsas perform 2 delicate operations to remove some cancer cells on me and visiting him every 3 to 6 month ( in the beginning ) & there after ones a year , till today , we developed a patient - doctor trust , respect for the pain & needs of the patient, explaining and passing on his knowledge thoroughly & in plain words.
