Dr Lucille Heslop is, in my opinion, the very best oncologist I could have had. Her vast knowledge, genuine interest, quite frankly, her total care of me, was amazing. I cannot stop recommending her to everyone I come across and I will always promote her as THE VERY BEST.

Dr. Heslop is the type of oncologist my Mom loved and was exactly what she needed. Just a straight shooter, honest, knowledgeable, and always willing to talk to us, including my brother overseas.
I would highly recommend her as she was also similarly recommended to us.

Dr Heslop went above and beyond whilst treating my mum Alta Rabie. Her diagnoses was effective and accurate she fought like a tiger over cub to get my mum what she needed when she needed it. She is feisty and determined honest direct and to the point. She worked with my mum who was a frail at age 86 like she had every chance to live. It kept my mum positive and strong and gave her hope. She even did an unexpected friendly home visit just to check in on her after her radiation treatment and it meant the world to my mum. Dr Heslop was in before 7am every morning whilst my mum was in hospital we got regular calls from her 3 times a week updating us on mums treatment and progress and what her follow up plan was. We also were able to contact her when ever we needed to and it was never long before she responded. She treated my mum with respect and dignity and discussed everything with her directly. She never gave up even when we did. Eventually it was my mums choice to stop and Dr Heslop respected her wishes. I have never seen a doctor dive in and work so hard and take on a patient and fight for her as if its her own mother. We had an incident where another medical professional messed up and Dr Heslop tore into them like a tiger over her cub. My mum loved her and would not listen to anyone but her,

Dr Heslop knowledge is astounding she would walk in and within seconds notice things and diagnose things before we even had a chance to tell her what's wrong or that mum had a difficult night. She just knew her stuff and prescribed exactly what mum needed. We 1000% believed and felt that mum was in the best possible care. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is simply phenomenal and would choose her again and again and again

My sister died of cancer within a year of being treated. I am confused by her sudden death especially when the 9 tumours developed in her brain within a short space of time. I was grieved by the termination procedure. My sister should have gone to a hospice and then home to die. Immunotherapy could have worked positively if afforded the chance. To be honest I really don't specifically know what the medical aid in this instance covered. I believe in a patients rights to the last detail, the right to liquid sustanance

Lucille is by far the best doctor i have ever met. She is always smiling and genuinly interested in every single patients story. She has a profound knowledge in all areas of medicine and beyond. She sees the whole picture and takes everything into account. She is a highly skilled, empathetic , lovely person who i trust with my life and i am eternally grateful that she is our oncologist and no one else. Dr. Heslop is a God send to any person negotiating the disease of cancer in their lives. Whether they are the patient, as in my case, or the family members. She is a fountain of knowledge and is always available with love and concern to her patients. She has sustained me in my journey since 2011 and continues to be a very large part of my life to this day. I cannot recommend this lady enough.
