My husband and I are very disappointed with the circumcision our son received from Dr. DeCotiis. Right from the beginning, we could tell that too much skin was left behind. Our pediatrician agreed and recommended reaching back out. She never responded to our message so we just went ahead and made another appointment, only to show up and have her do absolutely nothing. Our concerns went in one ear and out the other, as if we had no idea what we were talking about. I was also specifically instructed NOT to pull any skin back and my son now has adhesions and needs a second circumcision done under anesthesia! Had this been done the correct way the first time, all of this could have been avoided. I’m so sad to have to put my baby through this all over again. Please for the sake of your baby, don’t go to this doctor. I am severely regretting my decision to go here!
Dr. Figueroa was highly recommended but we ended up with DeCotiis due to his long waitlist. I really wish I had done more research on her beforehand because now that I have, there are several reviews from others with very similar experiences!
