Dr. Kleinhenz is professional, kind, extremely knowledgeable. After taking a conservative approach to my lower back issues, surgery was the final option. He performed a fusion of my L4-S1 vertebra with extreme success. After 5+months I am back to all normal activities with no pain. He is highly recommended by me.

Dr. Kleinhenz performed a far lateral microdiscectomy of my L4 L5 herniated disc in September 2021. Prior to surgery I was in extreme pain and had severe difficulty standing and walking, for over 4 months. Dr. Kleinhenz and his staff were extremely helpful in helping me understand my condition and the steps I needed to take to repair and heal my spine. At each step Dr. Kleinhenz explained the procedures he recommended, educated me on the potential outcomes, and listened to my many questions concerning risks and recovery and quality of life. It is close to a year now since the operation and I am about 90%+ recovered. I was very satisfied with the treatment and quality care I received from Dr. Kleinhenz and his staff and highly recommend him.

Dr. Kleinhenz is one of the finest Doctors I have ever encountered. I had to have a fusion of L4 L5 , bone spurs removed, and repair of a few herniated disks. In other words a lot of work. It has been 5 weeks since my surgery and I am doing great! His staff is very helpful and friendly as well. If your looking for a Spine Doctor, Doctor Kleinhenz is the one to have.

I had to have cervical spine surgery consisting of placing 2 spacers in through the front of my neck and placed 2 rods through the rear. Dr. Klienhenz was extremely friendly , professional, explained in terms I understood about the surgery. I have no pain since the surgery and have full use of my left arm again.

Dr. Kleinhenz is an incredible Surgeon!!!
Caused by a very serious car accident, I needed to have 2 spinal surgeries within
5 weeks of one another!!😳 Also, taking place during the covid pandemic, which is very worrisome on its own.
The 1st surgery (November 2020) of my lower back was painful of course but within a week or two I was able to get out of bed without being crouched over crying in pain every morning for almost a year. I was able to start comfortably take my dog for a walk again everyday. I felt like I finally got my life back to normal, somewhat. The 2nd surgery was for my neck which was a much more serious surgery (December 2020). Having 2 surgeries within such a short amount of time, it is only January of 2021 but I feel like a new person. The office staff was very knowledgeable & curtious. Fatima, the surgical coordinator, put all my instructions, appointments and any testing that needed to be done together for me in a folder in a organized fashion.
Rule's to follow for the day of surgery, how to enter the hospital as well as where to go once in the hospital. Rules for after surgery and how to properly take care of my incision as well as showering instructions, ect. I have had surgeries in the past and if I was ever to have to have another back or neck surgery, I would choose University of Orthopedics and Dr.Kleinhenz.

Dr. Dominic Kleinhenz is a miracle worker! After three months of excruciating pain with no help from therapy, medicine or epidurals I met with Dr. Kleinhenz at University Orthopedics and decided with his advice and other specialists that I would be a good candidate for cervical disc replacement (C6) rather than fusion surgery. Well, I am at day 24 of recovery and spending Thanksgiving being so thankful to Dr. Kleinhenz and his team for getting me pain free (surgery was a breeze!)! I cannot thank him enough and look forward to returning to high level golf once again. Thank you again Doc!
