Dr. Kim is a knowledgeable and caring person. He helped me very much during an extremely difficult time of my life. His comments, questions and suggestions were always right on spot. He is thoughtful, reflecting and calm. His friendly and supportive demeanor puts you to ease and makes you comfortable discussing very personal matters. I greatly appreciate Dr. Kim’s help when I needed it the most.

our family went through death of my mother and illness of my husband. my kids struggled through all of this along with me, and with them being autistic didn't help. Dr. Kim was there for all of us, supporting with kindness. he treated us with his heart like family.

I was seen 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment by Dr. Kim. This was our first visit for our 8 year old child that had a previous diagnosis of Aspergers. During my wait in the family waiting room one of their MAs, Sam, was talking to another individual about their bedroom activity. Literally. In the Appointment Dr. Kim seemed disappointed that my wife was not there and told me that we would have to schedule another appointment so she could come in. Alone, this would have been positive as I would have seen it as him being thorough. However his interrogative approach to me and his seeming disregard for my opinion caused me to feel very unwelcome. After about 5 minutes he told me, in front of my emotionally sensitive kid, that he 'needs to to be able to admit (my son) into a psychiatric hospital to treat him'. I told him absolutely not. My son is quirky, sure, but he also received an award for most respectful kid in his grade. We just wanted continued guidance. He then asked my son to step outside. When my son was outside he told me that he understands that these places have bad reputations but he needs to be able to do this to treat him. I said under no circumstance will he be allowed to be admitted into a psychiatric facility. He then told me he could not treat me. So I am here at home trying to convince my 8 year old boy that he is not crazy because he now thinks he needs to be admitted to a mental hospital. I believe this mans careless words have caused significant harm to my son.

This provider leaves me curious I am not sure how trustworthy he is. He is more than happy to put you on as much medications as he can and up the doses quickly which leaves me skeptical he will also refuse to assist in any excusable needs that require his assistance. He is also not forthcoming with side effects of medications. However he has a kind nature, is friendly and punctual if that counts for anything.
