Dr. Alberte-Lista failed to recognize that I was suffering a heart attack when I awoke in post-op after he had placed my pacemaker. I was having all the symptoms one would associate with a heart attack, but he took no actions to counter the issue. Instead he assured us that it was my body reacting to pacemaker and my new heart rate. Hours later when the sonogram and the blood work showed that I had a heart attack he skirted around the subject telling me that I had a heart "event" and it wasn't until another cardiac surgeon came in to get permission to put in a stint that I finally found out I had a heart attack. He is a poor excuse for a human being let alone a doctor.
