Dr Canete has been our family doctor since 2019 and he is wonderful! I'm always able to get an appointment in a reasonable time and he's always willing to help. It takes a while to break through his shell but he's a funny guy and can crack some good jokes.

Don't bother to waste your time going to this WALK IN clinic...You can not get past his wicked receptionist wife. I waited outside in the cold for 45 minutes with a growing group of people and my son. The message on the phone said opens at 8:45...no show until 9:00 then door actually opened at 9:10. ...my son had an inflamed protrusion causing his eye to swell.... we had previously been to this office a few years ago and found Dr. Canete helpful...times have changed ...apparently now it is just a place to refill prescriptions....no time to actually see anyone because there is greater money in how many people can be processed..people needing any medical attention take up too much time....just dispense papers for drugs and keep the day rolling I was told we would fit the description of this WALK IN CLINIC and go to VRH. In fact she also said Canete does not do referrals anymore either...I asked that my son be referred to Dr. Shafflelburg because my son's issue is recurring . He had been to Shaffelburg a few years ago but needs the referral again. Basically you WALK In and get told to go to VRH unless you need a prescription refill. JOKE. ROTTEN TOMATOES to this office.

Staff is helpful but dr is awful. Just wants to give you pills and send you on your way as quick as possible. He would not even listen to all the symptoms that I had. Just heard the first one, made a diagnosis from that and wouldn't let me say anything else. Aweful experience. I will never go back to him and I should hope that anyone else who has anything seriously wrong with them doesn't either. He will not listen or take you seriously. Horrible Doctor.

I have cancer & I came in on a Friday & a Monday after going to emerg b/c I have a serious heat rash & they can’t do chemo until I get it cleared up & he refused to see me at 12:45pm & there was only one other patient & she was willing to give up her appt! He’s a awful dr! He doesn’t deserve his license! And I will tell all my drs in the city about him. And my friends & family. Maybe he will get cancer & no one will help him...what goes around comes around...what’s good for the goose is good for the gander...shame on you mr. canete.

Walked into the clinic and my son was having a mild allergic reaction and was given treats and a toy and was seen within seconds. Very happy with the staff as well , I was in and out within 15 minutes max and faxed my sons prescription so it would be ready as soon as I got to the drugstore

Several years ago I injured my ankle. I went to Dr. Canete he kept saying there was nothing wrong yet it was visible to see how swollen and bruised my ankle was and that I was beginning to be deformed. After months my father came with me and demanded a MRI. My talus bone was cracked now for 7 months. I did get a surgery a full year later but really it was too late. The cartilage was damaged beyond repair. Now 8 years later I walk with a cane and in chronic pain. My life will never be the same. I hope that one day my life will get back to normal.
