Dr.Bothwell has been the best doctor I had. Past doctors had misdiagnosed my husband for years until we got Dr.Bothwell as are doctor and he found out the real problems with my husband. Couldn't wish for a better doctor.

my wife & I have been going to Dr Bothwell since he opened practice in Lindsay. We rate him 100% in every thing he does. The receptionist is a 100% asset to Dr Bothwell practice in every way.

SUMMARY: Perhaps a good general physician for most people, but not at all beneficial for mental health.

I’m not normally one to leave negative reviews but in the case of Dr Bothwell I feel I must so hopefully people find a doctor they can benefit from…. He started out a great doctor, really seemed to care but over the years it’s become awful. Wait times to get an appointment are ridiculous and if you have MENTAL HEALTH problems, DO NOT GO TO HIM, HE’S NO HELP. I battle anxiety, depression & ocd and his only recommendation of getting me help is medication. There have been so many advancements in helping mental health and it’s like he’s oblivious to all them or merely just wants the kickback from prescriptions. They’re often rude at reception like you’re annoying them by booking an appointment, referrals take literal months, and it seems like every time you call they’re closed or he’s on holiday. He’s also missed a phone appointment we had and then was 3 hours late on the other. Last thing I’ll say is that I asked him to check my hormone levels because regardless of diet and exercise losing weight had been an issue and his response was “sometimes we’re just born into certain bodies” rather than trying to find the cause. Very disappointing and not how a doctor should treat patients.

Very positive energy & encouraging personality. A different approach than many Doctors who overdose and generate quick results but could result in further complications . By monitoring he gets a good idea of understanding responsible patients. Highly recommended .

I have never met nor had a doctor so involved with their patients. He is very thorough and easy to chat with. I am so glad he accepted me as a patient. A great approach to healthcare.

Excellent Doctor with a very logical approach to treating patients . Will not prescribe medications unless required. Great listener and open to different approaches to ensuring best health for his patients.
