"New patient....doctor was nice enough.....little time spent....felt very "factory like".....check a box....I have seen her. I was looking for a doctor close to home.....he isn't it. Felt more interest from doctors at the Target locations I have been to prior. I won't be back."

Dr. Mathys was very arrogant and cocky seemed a little racist as well. I would not recommend him.

I had Visian ICL put in by Dr.Mathys 2 years ago and even from the very first appointment he has outstanding! Always friendly, very helpful, and never long waits! I'd recommend him to anyone looking to have this procedure done!

Dr. Mathys, at Christianbury Eye Center, Charlotte, NC was knowledgeable, responsive, efficient, capable and effective. He listened to and answered questions. He explained procedures and techniques. He presented possible difficulties and their solutions. He examined on a follow-up schedule he had arranged at the outset and he efficiently performed any necessary follow-up procedures at no extra cost. I am well content with the outcome of my cataract removal and ReStore implant work. It is wonderful to walk in the rain without speckles on the glasses I no longer need. It is great to see my music and my director without any artificial exterior lenses. I still reach for my glasses in the mornings when I rise, rejoicing after a split second in my freedom from those crutches of the last 60 years. Wheeee!
