I went through a terrible experience in another hospital, was transferred and Dr Roodt went above and beyond to assist and support. Operation done in very neat manner. Thank you Dr for going the extra mile and assisting me.

He is very rude, doesn't explain what is wrong, does surgery twice, he has no patience and also no manners.

Dr Herman Roodt is an absolute great orthopedic surgeon. He is dedicated, professional and was always willing to listen and attend to my concerns. i always felt that I was in good hands.

When I think of my orthopaedic surgeon Dr H Roodt, this song comes to mind..."Your simply the best, Better than all the rest, Better than anyone, Anyone I've ever met". With the greatest dexterity and precision, he skilfully pieced together all the fragments of the fractures in my knee and my wrist. This in itself, looking back, is a miracle. I have the greatest admiration for my surgeon and his dedication. With people like him, there is still hope for society. He is very dedicated. A man of few words but insurmountable skill. Heis really an asset to Netcare. I will never forget his expertise. What a man, What a man, What a mighty big man!!!

I have seen Dr Roodt for many years. He may not have the greatest bedside manner, but I want brilliance not pampering. He saved my leg when it was shattered. He is straightforward and to the point. Many don't like that, but he is a brilliant surgeon. I have been to other orthopedic surgeons, but none as good.

My daughter had an accident in Stilbaai during December and was operated on in Mossel Bay. She bad broken both her Ulna and Radius. When she returned after the December holidays she went to see the so called brilliant Dr. Roodt who again took X Rays but did not even look at the X rays. Today she went to see our GP who took X Rays again and it was determined that she also has a broken bone in her wrist. Dr Roodt is a rude butcher, with no compassion and clearly no working brain cells, and not a Surgeon and he should be scrapped from the Medical profession.

Had a major fall and broke my left patella(knee cap) in two. Was admitted into krugersdorp private Er and was admitted. Dr Roodt was with me in an half hourand started pain and antibiotic treatments straigjt away. Couldnt perform operation cause of the bad swelling. He even came to see me in the sunday, he didnt have too. He operated me monday 25th november and was discharged 27th. Visited him 15 january and both of us very happy. Well done dr roodt you saved my leg!!
