I can't say the physician doesn't have knowledge however she has an attitude and I would prefer not to work with a physician who is not personable.

All I can say is Thank God for Dr. Vargas. I was diagnosed with Sjogrens disease in Jan. 2013. As a nurse, I had never even heard of this autoimmune syndrome, so I joined the Sjogrens Foundations website. The first advice they give, is too find a rheumatologist who will work with you, that you are comfortable with, and most of all, is knowledgable about Sjogrens, for which there is no cure. Your doctor treats the symptoms with medications if needed. I saw two other rheumatologists before I found The Institute for Autoimmune diseases and Rheumatology at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. I left the two appointments discouraged, in pain, and disgust. I got an appointment with Dr. Vargas, and prayed that she would be able to help me. I am now pain free, ( no narcotics), on Plaquenil . I feel like a new person. Dr. Jenny Vargas is a compassionate, top notch Doctor who listens to her patients. The best Doctor I have ever seen. Staff is great. I highly recommend Dr. Vargas.
