Immediately after college, Dr. Brucato attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. While there, she volunteered for many races in the medical tent with the sports medicine club. She also became the President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists Student Chapter. From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Brucato completed her Podiatric Surgery Residency at Morristown Medical Center. This included extensive surgical training in all major areas of the foot and ankle including elective forefoot, rearfoot reconstruction, diabetic foot infections/amputations, trauma, and plastic surgery techniques. She completed rotations in virtually all aspects of medicine including rotations in the emergency department, internal medicine, and vascular medicine. During residency, Dr. Brucato completed multiple research projects and publications including being honored to present her research at the national meeting of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.
