Back in February, our mom went to the ER with a significant amount of pain in her abdomen. She was told the flu was going around by paramedics but she insisted on having this checked out. Thank God she did, by the next day she was being transported by helicopter to Toronto to have emergency surgery for a mycotic AAA, which if you google is the kind you don't want. We didn't know doctors like Dr. Deboeck were in existence. Not only was he amazing with our mother, he didn't give up, he didn't stop until a hospital that could perform this surgery was found, and made all of this happen very quickly.

Dr. Deboeck was the Dr who saw me in Emergency at Georgian Bay General Hospital. He was such a great guy who had a wonderful bedside manner and he was amazing to deal with. He really listened to what I had to say and I really liked his approach (did not talk down to me or give me the sense that he knew better than me). He really put me at ease with his knowledge and care. I only wish he had a private practice so I could be a patient of his. He's that good! Thanks so much Doctor. Lee

I saw Dr. Deboeck at GBGH emergency. He is a great Dr. He takes the time to listen to what you have to say and actually hears you. He is very thorough. He is one of the few Drs. that I have seen of late that actually makes you feel seen. He is a very caring dr.

This Doctor is excellent!!! He listens and observes you. Fast and very kind and this is something coming from me because I usually do not use Alliston hospital for anything. So It’s finally nice to have a competent doctor in the house with bed side manners the way it used to be. Maybe the other doctors there could pay attention and learn from one of the good guys👍

This doctor is a wonderful person. Also, a wonderful doctor. I wish he had a practice in Alliston. He makes visits to the ER way more relax than others. The staff, that's a complete different story...I could tell you stories that would make your hair stand straight upon your head, even for does who are bald
