In my opinion, Dr. Carlson fails to follow through if his first impression about a patients condition proves to be wrong. He disregards relevant symptoms and he is sloppy in doing physical examinations. He is sloppy in considering all the possibilities about could be wrong with a patient before deciding they have no significant health problem. He is smug and unsympathetic too, though he can turn on the charm when he wants to.

Dr. Carlson would prefer to have a Medical Assistant or a Physician Assistant deal with you in lieu of Dr. Carlson. He will not perform a routine physical, leaves it up to his assistants. In most instances Dr. Carlson does not even see you when you have an appointment. He will not notify you of lab results. Would I recommend him - no.
