My 88 yr old mom had a tooth extracted today by Dr McIntosh at the St Andrews office. She had all good things to say about him and his staff. He was very gentle and pleasant. She would recommend him.

Dr John McIntosh did tooth extraction for my mom, she is 75. It was second last molar, it was cracked lengths wise. It was supposed to be a complicated surgery. My mom is allergic to gum numbing gel, so Dr had to do local anaesthetic without first numbing the gum and he did it great, she felt no pain! Then he pulled the tooth out in about 10 seconds in one piece! It fell apart on the tray. No stitches needed, my mom only took two Advil pils before bed that day and she had no pain next day. This doctor is amazing! Thank You so much Dr John McIntosh! He is also a super nice person and cares about patients very much, his assistant is also super nice.

Dr. McIntosh is absolutely amazing! I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday by him and I couldn't be happier and at ease. Everything was fully explained prior to the extraction - including rare, but possible risks and complications. I loved the transparency and gentleness. Wanna hear the best part? I've had almost no pain and still haven't needed to take any pain meds! Yayyy! The staff was also very helpful, friendly and compassionate. They even called this morning to check in on me :') thank you so much everyone! :D
