Dr. Vaou is an incredible physician! My father was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's (with tremors, rigidity, etc.). Dr. Vaou has vast knowledge of Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson' s & helped my father through the entire process, from beginning to end...always spending ample time with him. The surgery has changed his life....decreased medications, tremors were almost non-existent within minutes of turning the device on, rigidity & gait improved significantly. He lives out of state & feels she does such an incredible job, that he will continue to follow her for future care, rather than seeing a neurologist in his state. We are so grateful for his new lease on life! Thank you Dr. Vaou!

Dr. Vaou has been super compassionate and I feel at this point in my diagnosis that I am extremely comfortable in her care .
She takes her time with me during the appointment to explain to me what I should expect, and what I need to do to maintain my quality of living.

I have been seeing Dr Vaou for some time now. I have found her to be highly knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. I couldn't be happier. We have worked through a difficult diagnosis (my symptoms are not typical). She and her staff have worked hard and have gone well beyond what I have experienced with other doctors. I would highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr. Vaou for a movement disorder along with a sleep disorder. She always listens to my concerns and takes her time explaining things to me and answering any questions that I may have. I highly recommend Dr. Vaou!

Dr. Vaou is not genuinely interested in helping patients. Her body language and behavior are unprofessional. During some of my visits, she has yawned, checked her cell phone and her email. She is quick to judge and is not helpful. She did not want to help treat my symptoms or find the cause. If you're looking for a neurologist, go somewhere else because Dr. Vaou lacks bedside manner and clinical knowledge.
