I am a 38 yr juvenile diabetic. ! started to go blind. The office has a tiny waiting room and is always packed. I always waited at least 45 mins to be seen. The nurse was rude and did not believe anything I had to say. I felt milled thru and spoken down to. I brought my husband with and finally confronted her about it she said they had no record of me doing what ive said ive done. The laser surgery was quite painful and as I was leaving I overheard this nurse say "she's quite emotional isn't she?". At this point I had had enough. I told Dr. Raphialian what was going on and how i felt about it. I also mentioned that I had tried to find another doctor to see in Muskegon and there were none. He at that point told me to try Grand Rapids and that is what I did. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. They were rude and unsympathetic at every point of my treatment. Because of this doctor I now research everyone I see and rate them accordingly.

Pleasant manner. Answers all questions. Offers insight into what he is doing and why. Seems to be thorough and competent. Long waits in office.
