Do NOT go to Dr Engel, find yourself a competent oral surgeon! This guy is so incompetent. The first time I went to see him, I had such bad pain I couldn't open mouth or move my jaw. Turned out my wisdom tooth was infected, my cheek was also swollen. He kept pushing me to do the extraction on the spot even though the infection was so bad I couldn't even open my mouth! I went back after a week to do the wisdom tooth extraction. He never explained the steps he will take for the procedure. All he did was he jabbed me with novacaine and he was really careless like he didn't know what he was doing. After he gave me two shots of novacaine, he immediately started the extraction process. That is when the nightmare began! He had one person holding down my head so I can't move, one person roughly pulling open my mouth while Engel tried to pull the tooth. I felt such excruciating pain and he gave me two more shots. He kept on for 20 min until I told him to stop. Awful doctor total quack.
