I have been a patient for almost 10 years. I find Dr. Logel to be helpful, compassionate, and insightful. He has helped me learn about myself, understand my feelings, and deal with the difficult issues that have affected me in my life. He has the ability to balance professionalism with compassion and care.

I agree if there is a conflict it is 100% the patients fault. Taking calls on his phone during my time I was paying cash for was devastating and we would go round and round about this. The last one ...he answered the msg. then turned to me and said "have you ever put a dog down?" Like he did not even know me .I had seen him for thirty years and lived with German Shepards for eighteen years...putting them down was the worst for me. It was if I was not in the room. This was very costly and somehow this is my fault. His new wife seems to be in the room at all times. We talked about politics way too much for out of the pocket fees. He would just yell at me, although his wife could interrupt my therapy about the garage door.

I've been a patient of Dr. Logel's for 15 years. With his help, I've dealt with an abusive childhood, the sudden death of my daughter, divorce and work issues. He has always shown respect, compassion and knowledge in my treatment. I am very grateful to have worked with him and plan to continue to do so.

He is the first therapist that understood me and helped me with transformative change. I'm experiencing my self as the person I should have been not the one trauma and poor environment created. He is kind, thoughtful and intelligent. My mind is reorganizing, I'm learning how to recognize pure love, rather than a feeling that is manipulated by another for their benefit. I'm grateful that I met him.

My experience with Dr. Logel was devastating. The beginning of treatment was wonderful. He was warm, attuned and caring. He is bright and educated me about psychoanalysis. I did need long-term treatment, but the dynamic that developed became unhealthy. As things began to deteriorate, I became aware that Dr.Logel had a nasty temper. If he felt put down, he would lash out. If I ever got angry in a session, he got more angry back. My therapy stalled and when I asked to take a break, he said if I left I could never come back. For someone with abandonment issues this was terrifying. I remained for an additional year until he said something so cruel I walked out. He didn't own his part when things went wrong in treatment. He repeatedly told me our conflicts were 100% my fault..nothing to do with him. He failed to see that his way of relating to me was the end of therapy. I left after 7 and 1/2 years. I did learn about psychoanalysis, but there was no healing.
