I just delivered my 2nd baby with Melissa. She was the opposite of what one wants and expects in a Midwife. She spoke condescendingly and arrogantly. She didn't listen to me when I told her what my body was doing. She never encouraged or supported myself or my laboring team. She seemed put out that I was in labor that night...as if she had to cancel her personal plans or something. She appeared as though she wasn't confident when my labor went crazy fast (as I told her it would). She tore me when she pulled my baby out before her shoulders were delivered. She stitched me up loosely and the stitches didn't hold. I am now having to go to an OB to have the tear assessed and possibly be restitched. I have never encountered such a Midwife. My rating for her is the lowest possible.
