Dr Kay, in rheumatology, was AMAZING!! I am so relieved and happy with my visit! I have seen a few plus, rheumatologists, due to moving, change in insurances and a couple that I wasn’t happy with, through my many years of having Lupus. There have only been 2 that I was really happy with, East Bay Rheumatology, in San Leandro, Ca and Dr. Kay, in Las Vegas. Very knowledgeable, thorough, nice and came up with the best plan, by putting all pieces into place. Very pleased! (His staff was nice, too!)

Excellent experience with the doctor, treatments, helpfulness, and staff! There is a reason the wait list to see Dr. Kay is so long. If you just want to eat vegan and continue collecting disability, stay with primary care and theres no need to see a specialist. I can say my horrible skin psoriasis and painful psoriatic arthritis are now in remission thanks to Dr. Kay's therapies.

I have just started my treatment with Dr. Kay. I must say I’m very impressed by his caring for his patients. I have had rheumatoid arthritis since 6 years old and I’m now 51. I have been seeing someone else for over 10 years and not much help. I have been seeing Dr . Kay for about a month, and I feel better than I have ever did. He is amazing and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for any of Your rheumatoid arthritis needs. He is very caring and understands that you just want to get better. His staff is all very friendly and I just love them to pieces. I’m so blessed to finally found a great Dr to get some relief. I feel like a new person and I’m able to do my chores and activities again without hurting. After years of suffering symptoms that had no answers I was referred to Dr. Kay (and 3 other specialists). I saw Dr. Kay 2nd. He had his P.A. do an initial assessment (I think her name is Dr. Fang), then he comes in - he has already looked over my file and addresses the issue head-on. He is calm and concise, he doesn't waste time, so don't feel he isn't spending enough time with you - he doesn't need to. Try to have any questions ready. At first I was a bit upset about what I was told but went home and digested it all and realized that Dr. Kay totally understood where I was coming from and directed my next steps appropriately. I may need to see him again, I may not - but if I do, I will be confident that I am in good hands.

Dr. Kay performed a complete and thorough check up, showing interest and concern for my condition. And his team is certainly up to par. UNLV couldn't have found a better replacement for the retired Dr. Forman. Thank you.

It took a long time as there are so few rheumatologists in Las Vegas, but it was worth the wait. Dr. Kay was very thorough in his questions and examination and knew my records and studies beforehand. He went over all potential treatments with me. My rheumatoid arthritis is finally under control.

Impossible to get an appointment with this doctor. They told me to have my doctor send a referral. I had my PCP and prior Rheumatologist send referrals as I currently have an autoimmune disease with a diagnosis. I have been trying to get an appointment for over two months. I have called at least once each week to check on it. Every time I called they say hadn't received the referral but would CALL ME when they received it to give me an appointment. Finally, after two months they said they received the referral but it was denied due to not receiving blood work results. However, they never asked for blood work results from me or my PCP/Rheumatologist. I called another Rheumatologist and had my Rheumatologist send the referral. Immediate appointment. Please don't waste your time with the run around they give you here.
