Where do I begin? He's contradicted himself from a previous visit. No consults are offered to talk about the issue at hand - jumps to procedures and tells you you're okay even though you may still have symptoms and you're left with no solutions to your problem and no follow up appointment. He also prescribed a medication that I should not be taking - and the medication was prescribed when I was under the influence of anesthesia. He needs to slow down and listen to his patients/ consider all possibilities before making rushed decisions and rushing people out the door.

I am absolutely disgusted in the news that I was just emailed I have seen this doctor before in the past and found he was very rushed. And yes he is one of those that treat you like a number. My family doctor has put in an urgent request for a gastroscopy due to the fact that I have gone from 140 pounds to 119 pounds in less than a year most of it happened within about a six-month timeframe. Just recently I’ve been diagnosed with a tumour in my bladder(by a urologist)I think it’s absolutely disgusting that he is expecting me to wait until next January 2024 to have a gastroscopy done to see if there’s anything else going on. I mean I know I’m not a spring chicken anymore I’m 55-year-old female, but I am still working full-time and would like to remain on the Earth a little bit longer. As someone who has worked in the healthcare field her entire life, I find this very distressing.

Incredible doctor! He is patient and caring. He even calls back on a weekend when i was flaring from my colitis. He also treats my son with colitis and he's doing so much better thx to his treatments and care. He can be reached easily and is quick to reply back. Truly goes the extra mile.

Dr Z. Karim (Jim Pattison), I would say is NOT helpful. Besides getting colonoscopy and medication and the condition I have was best he can suggest. There was no suggestion on diet. Things to avoid/things to eat or any in-depth knowledge how to treat this situation and what is likely to experience with the condition. I felt I was getting better answer from Google or watching YouTube videos than he can possibly suggest. I felt my time was rushed, he didn’t want to discuss more than the basic information I gave above. *Front office was sincere and team working there* Look forward seeing a new qualified gasterolgist.

Dr karim is by far the best gastro doctor I have ever had. He takes his time follows up, knows his craft!!! His office assistant is also great!! Ludu.

WHAT A TERRIBLE VILE DOCTOR! He was to perform a colonscopy on me and he inserted the scope before he put the IV in me for sedation. I was screaming in pain and agony and crying because the pain was unbearable. At that point, they did the IV medication but this was AFTER they already inserted the scope. This is unlawful and absolutely terrible. Not even once did they ask me if I was ready or explain what they were doing. They just had me lay on my side but nothing else was said and no sedation was given. I say STEER AWAY from this doctor. This is a haunting terrible experience and I do not know why a doctor would be so careless and wreckless.

I am very pleased with Dr. Karim! They saw me in his office very fast and sent for tests all within a couple of weeks. His receptionist is a nice woman, she sure knows her stuff!

I found Dr. Karim friendly and attentive. He has performed two colonoscopies on me over several years and keen on after care. I also found his receptionist very helpful when I had a medication question.

Michelle was my first introduction to Dr. Karim's office. She's great at her job and very personable. She answered my questions and she was knowledgeable about the process I had to follow leading up to the colonoscopy.

Dr. Karim was very professional, proficient throughout the procedure, and very knowledgeable. I trusted Dr. Karim's skills and I highly recommend him.
