I had numerous persons refer me stating if anyone could assist, this Opthalmologist could as she was so good. Well personal experience dictated otherwise! This is the 3rd week since seeing this Opthalmologist who knew how much pain and discomfort I was in. Left her office with nothing more than a promise "to get to the bottom" of the cause, and that she would speak to a Neurologist and call me the following week. Extreme abdominal pain and excess output, coupled with nausea and sweating cash paid and STILL waiting on a Referral Letter 3 weeks later after she phoned me and basically told me to see an ENT, get blood tests and see a Neurologist and that it would take someone with a lot of medical knowledge to diagnose the problem - that was her extent of "getting to the bottom of it", and pity she didn't mention that before taking my money. 3 emails and 2 calls later and still nothing. Having to beg for a Referral Letter after paying R1000 is a disgrace. Would dedinitely NOT recommend!!! Its all about grabbing your cash, and no real care for the patient and their pain or issue.

Dr Hurley is a compassionate, caring and a higly experienced doctor. She is precise, and accurate in her assessment and treatment of her patients. Her equipment is always hygienically clean so is her suite. Her staff is professional and friendly. I highly and with confidence recommend Dr Emma Hurley.
