Wonderful doctor. Really took time to listen to me and and corrected a misdiagnosis given me by another physician. I am very sorry to hear she has decided to retire.

I saw Dr. Keating in the Emergency Room and she diagnosed my heart problem right away. The doctor I saw three days before said it was my stomach. She was smart and caring and sent me to the heart doctor that day.

Dr. Keating is the most uncaring, incompetent “professional” ever. She is reviled by her patients as well as her colleagues. Resident will travel to either Blind River or Sault Ste Marie for treatment if they know she is on call. Thankfully, she’s been fired.

I have been dealing with Walk in clinic in Sault Ste Marie with no avail have had a right knee problem for 1 year now .No follow up from the fly by night Dr.I saw.I went to the Thesallon hospital saw Dr.Frances Keating she took the time to listen to my plight and acted on my condition immediacy. She ordered x-rays on knee then will get me a referral to have mri done on knee and took my phone number that she will follow up on.She looked at medicine prescribed to me by the fly by night Drs inthe Sault one anti inflammatory drug that was prescribed to me would have knocked an elephant out.Sault area Drs did not want to give me a med for pain because the Sault Drs think everyone inthe Sault(zoo) is a drug addict. She changed my prescription gave me a pain medication and made me feel like at least someone cares.Highly recommended other post I read sounds like the kind of people that complain about everything anyways .She is top notch trust me go to the Zoo and see what kind of help you will get then you will appreciate someone such as Dr.Frances Keating rating 110%.

Totally missed a diagnosis which resulted in untreated kidney failure. No follow up on prescribing meds for a uti which ended up not being a uti...beyond useless.

Quick in jumping to judgement. Ignores patient needs. Ignores patient opinion, we all know when our own bodies are not working the same. Ignored major edema issues till swelling had reached my butt, then finally decided to do something. This could easily have lead to congestive heart failure & of course death. After heart problems found & recommendations for furthur followups were made. A followup has never been scheduled. Poor bedside manner. Quick to hand out prescriptions in a timely manner.

Beth at the front desk suffers from control issues yells at people and is rude. Dr Keating doesn't take severe edema of the feet and ankles seriously, in fact ignored it, which led to a myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest. Cardiologist in Sudbury was astounded that a family dr. ignored the edema a classic sign of cardiac disease along with type 2 diabetes. Its so bad open heart surgery is now required. Have seen her in emerge as well she is often rude and has actually asked why are you here why don't you go to the NP clinic......Medical care in this town is scary as there are no options!! Avoid this dr if you can!!!!!
