This man is a true healer beyond all others in my life and death cancer battle. Taking calls all hours and once while at a dinner party, shushing the guests in order to hear my fragile voice. The soul in his eyes and reception of all my cares as the only thing in the world that mattered at the time showed me a way to survive. 20 years later, I still pray for him and all who understand life and helping those on the edge of death. If I could, I would clone him and staff all hospitals around the world with them, except that it might confuse his wife. Does he still wear the same outfit he did everyday when I knew him? Dr. Winston treated me 15 years ago for breast cancer. He was the best: compassionate and caring. He always spent as much time as I needed answering my questions and concerns. I credit his excellent care for the good heath I have today. I was very sorry to see him leave the Twin Cities, but am glad to hear he is just as great a doctor to our Northern neighbors.

Dr. Winston has been treating my Father for pancreatic cancer for over 4 years. He always takes his time, answers all our questions, returns calls promptly and has been absolutely wonderful. A very empathetic man. I can't say enough good things about the care he has provided. We have been truly blessed to have him as an oncologist!

Caring, sense of humor when needed, very helpful staff. Great follow-up with phone calls. Positive comments made by medical staff in chemo room. A wonderful personable man who gives you the time required to discuss issues. He has been treating my wife who has cancer and we feel fortunate and grateful to have him at the cancer agency in Abbotsford.
