Nice man but disappointed & surprised this Doctor was recommended to me for my seizure & chronic migraine control as after two appointments he told me to seek help from a Bowen therapist. I’m now seeing another neurologist and getting the help I needed.

He was unwilling to report his findings to our GP. His manner is outstanding and I was genuinely surprised.

I was really happy with my consultations with Prof Blacker. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure I understood the situation and his plan. The only issue with my experience was the attitude of his receptionist. She was very surly and short with me and after sitting and waiting in the reception for my appointment I realised it wasn't just me. She spoke very rudely to patients on the phone and in the clinic which made the experience unpleasant. Its is a shame as he is is a lovely doctor.

I saw Dr Blacker after being admitted through ED at SCGH. I was in a lot of distress with difficulty talking and an arm that wasn't working the way it should. After clearing me of a stroke he diagnosed me incorrectly with hemiplegic migraine. Then gave me a lecture about being stressed as a middle-aged woman and that's the reason I had this migraine. He wanted me to be followed-up by himself in his private rooms. ​ I had a reaction to my medications! It did take a few specialists time to work this out but this doctors attitude was exceptionally poor.
