He is the best! Incredible ability, years of experience in surgery and training others. One look into his face brought me complete assurance that my ob/gynecology had recommended the only person I wanted my uterus removed by! He really listens and cares, wastes no time with niceties and gives complete and candid feedback! 5 years later I'm cancer and scar free. I chose his hands, not the robot and am very thankful I did. Oh, and day of the surgery, JSUMC was awesome, beginning to end and what a fun capable team came to prep and take me to the OR!

Dr. Manuel explained my conditions and gave me my options. I appreciated his honesty. He told me the pros and cons of my options. I felt very comfortable with him and his knowledge.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!!! I had an appointment that had to be cancelled because of an emergency which I totally understand. They called my house phone instead of my cell phone a half hour before my appointment time and I had already left the house. When I showed up for my appointment I was obviously upset since I had already waited over a month for my appointment. The office manager was extremely rude, made me cry, and when I spoke to her about why I was upset she didn't want to hear it and made excuses. To make matters worse...the office manager told the doctor that I was yelling (which I wasn't since I was too busy crying) and now they refuse to give me another appointment.

I have been with Dr Manuel for several years. (Dr Sprance before him). Every doctor's office should be like this one. Dr Manuel is kind, understanding and he most certainly will take as much time with you as you need. He has always answered every question I have ever had. He is reassuring and comforting. You couldn't ask for anything more. The nursing staff sites change from time to time, but they have always been very accommodating to me. Having cancer is difficult enough, this is the doctor that nurses would choose for themselves, their mothers and their sisters. I know because I asked them. I am glad I followed their advice.

Dr Manuel was great. I had a very large cyst removed from my ovary. He did an excellent job. Highly recommended for surgical procedures. His office staff was very helpful too.

I wasn't a big fan of his either. needs to spend more time & basically knew nothing about me. His nurse is very rude.

Difficult, if not impossible, to have sufficient time with him to speak and discuss prognosis, treatment, complications, etc. due to busy surgery schedule. Neither he nor staff returned three phone calls regarding critical need for consultation after admittance to ER.
