Dr. Michelmore and the staff at Strathalbyn branch, we are very much indebted too....my husband has been ill since 2000, these people are helpful at all times, making our visits easy. Dr. Peter Michelmore is the most caring doctor, he sees the whole picture when one spouse is ill and the other panicking. it`s a long road, not only for the patient and their partners but also for the Doctor (GP), who has to deal with the specialists as well as we who flounder often in the face of serious illness. sometimes there are no simple answers and life for all of us can be frustrating, we the patients are sometimes guilty of forgetting ~Doctors are human too~. some doctors will give you a script for anything, the doctors at this clinic actually want to know what your problem is and why you think you need a particular pill...Sincerely we appreciate the care we have received. Thankyou G and V

He's very busy but knows his stuff. One of the better GPs I've seen.

I had so many different problems with him I dont know where to start. He was convinced I had bipolar so he sent me to psych after psych trying to get them to diagnose me with it but none would, he'd missed that I had hyperinsulinemia and was getting mood swings due to my body cant handle carbs. I also have a disabling physical condition he missed too and when I'd told him I'd collapsed onto street unable to walk and had to get strangers to take me home, he just goes "well you arent disabled" and ignored my collapse. He ignored that I was seeing a lot of different specialists, he ignored their letters and that I'd been on a disability pension for 2 years as I was too sick to be able to work. He lead me on thinking he cared (that is till he made the comment after my collapse), while the whole time he was behind my back, putting down all my very real health issues to mental health issues.
